A lot of people are hopeless in life. While some of them don’t know what to do with their lives other just wasted their lives away on silly and valueless ventures. It is true that we do not where life will take us, but we need to have some control over it at certain points in our life.
You are not alone. But finding your life purpose can change your life … a lot .. and for the better.
So let’s start with the basics. Find Your Life Purpose?
A life purpose is a simple statement of the reason you exist, the purpose behind you living now on this planet. It is the reason you came into being and the way you will decide if your life was worth it.
While a life calling focuses on what you will do and become … your life purpose speaks to what you will take from this life … what you came here to experience, learn and understand.
Why Do I Need One?
It is easy to get lost in modern life, to lose your way. You can fall asleep at the wheel as your life gets consumed with the mundane details of life. Or, joy and meaning can start to evaporate when life starts to get hard.
Having a clear idea of your life purpose keeps you motivated, focused and able to tap into a pool of energy when you need to face challenges, because you understand the why behind the events in our life.

Understand the value of working. For most of us, the main reason for working is finding a source of income. People that don’t need money work people they find the joy of doing something that they like. But what if you are working at a crappy job that you do not enjoy? Stick with it, wait and see, or give them the middle finger. If your job is going from bad to worse, you need to come up with a game plan. We have summon up some tricks and preparation steps that you can take.
Know and Look at your Current Situation Clearly
You must know what you are working at the job. You need to get an accurate and complete idea of what is really going on. If you have read our page Figuring Out What Went Wrong, you know what the problem is. So now you need to …
-Identify The Size of The Problem-Use with your list of dream job ingredients or write your own ideal job ad to create a specific and detailed description of the job you want.
-Compare that with a job description of your current job.
-How much do they differ? If it is a small amount, then you will want to put more emphasis on finding solutions than finding another job. The larger the discrepancy, the more serious the problem that you face.
-Are the problems you identified in Horrible Jobs: Figuring Out What Went Wrong temporary changes or permanent ones? (Consider bosses permanent unless you have very strong evidence they will be moving on soon.)
-What caused the problem? Are the reasons due to unforeseen circumstances or unavoidable market changes? Or are they due to an emerging or existing problem within the company. (If they are due to management problems, you may have less of a chance of things being corrected. Often a company has blinders on when it comes to recognizing and dealing with the problems created by its own management.)
* Can you imagine or describe exactly what would need to occur in order for the job to become your dream job again? Is so, create a list of all the things that would need to change or happen.
* Do you have the power, energy, interest, and time to make all the required things happen?
* If you do not, does anyone in the company? Does that person care about making the changes you need? What would need to happen to bring your changes about and how realistic is it?
* Do you expect changes in your job situation, and if so, will they improve or further reduce the “dreaminess” of your job?
* Is there a more general trend going on?
* Are other people also adversely affected and will this lead to good people leaving for greener pastures, further impacting how much you love your job?
Don’t let anyone pushes you around, take charge of your life. Don’t be a slave to money enjoy the value of your work.
Laziness is a disease that is naturally inherited by almost all human beings. In our ideal and natural state we always want to relax and do not work. At home we often like to sit back and watch TV and be a potato couch, but at work such habit can not be displayed. The boss wants you to perform and be productive. Employees that are lazy at their work places are those that do not care about their jobs. They might have obtained job security already and can not be fire. When dealing with this type of employee, the boss needs to do the following recommended practices.
1- Promote work engagement at the work place (teach focus): Productive people become 100% focused on the task they do. When they attempt to complete a task they put away their mobile phones, they never check their mail, facebook or blackberry and they isolate themselves completely from the surrounding until they complete the task.
2- Teach and preach courage at work: Sounds like a weird advice, right? Actually it was discovered that procrastination is sometimes your mind’s method to help you escape from the tasks you fear to do or from the fear of failure
3- Be consistent and don’t work based on good mood: While I wish you happiness everyday still this is not how life works. One day you might find yourself sad, the second day you might find yourself irritated while the third day you might find yourself not in the mood. Waiting for the right mood can kill productivity.
4- Have a plan ahead of time for the employees (set goals): I became the most productive when I started developing lists for the tasks I must do. A friend of mine once told me that the main reason for her procrastination was not knowing exactly where to start from
5- Boost the moral of your employees: Productivity and motivation are 2 sides of the same coin. If you aren’t motivated enough you won’t feel like working and productivity would have no meaning. Understand the reasons behind your lack of motivation and treat them in order to become truly productive.
6- Give out rewards and recognition: People who are not productive don’t enjoy their time because of feeling guilty. If you promised yourself some good free time after completing your tasks you will be able to both enjoy your free time and to become productive. In short, work time must only be dedicated for work and free time must only be dedicated to having fun instead of worrying about your productivity.
Feel free to place your comments or suggestion about dealing with lazy employees at the work place. Thank you.
